While the card carries an annual fee of $29.95, that fee can be refunded based on the amount of money loaded on to the card throughout the year. Load $2,000 for $20 cash back, $2,900 for $29.95 cash back, or load $4,500 and get $50 cash back, allowing for a $20.05 reward over the annual fee. The UPSide Edge card allows for a maximum balance of $5,000.
